John Coefield is a rock climbing, mountain biking and outdoor photographer based out of Sheffield, UK. Living close to the Peak District - the UK's busiest national park, an area of outstanding beauty, an outdoor mecca and climbing and biking paradise - has shaped John's vision of the world and informed how he makes images of it.
John's work features regularly in the climbing press and he is a contributor to Climber Magazine, Climb Magazine, Summit Magazine and a variety of guidebook publishers, including the British Mountaineering Council. John has also contributed articles and photographs to overseas publications, including the leading Japanese climbing magazine, Rock & Snow.
John is a committed rock climber and mountain biker and is the author of Peak District Bouldering and Peak District Climbing, guidebooks to the local area.
