Fryup Dale Singletrack

Our new mountain biking guidebook is now available. I spent about 5 days over the summer shooting the photos and I'm pretty pleased with how they've come out. Seeing photos in print is what it's all about, right? There's a few pics that didn't make the book but the ones that are in make for good reminders of fine and challenging days and great rides. The North York Moors really do make for some great mountain biking.

Climbing Magazine Cover

This month's Climber Magazine cover shows Andy Harris climbing his new route at Rubicon - Barracuda (F8b). I'm pretty pleased, particularly as it was shot at ISO 800 in less than ideal conditions: a strong case for shooting RAW and carefully processing in Lightroom. There's also a Peak Report in the magazine by yours truly and a nice shot of Jon Fullwood on his route Beluga (F8a+).

Rosedale

Just a quick one - I've added a smallish gallery with a 'bike' theme. Predominantly stuff shot in the last few months. Check it out here.

Camperdown Crawl

There's a big article on our new Peak District Climbing guidebook in the June issue of Climber Magazine. It's pretty much an advert for the book but it does feature many of my shots from the book and a few that didn't make the cut, including this one of James Hogg at Birchen Edge.

The Brazilian

This picture of Andy Harris on his new problem The Brazilian at Rowtor Rocks has been used as the main picture for this month's Peak Report in CLIMB Magazine. Looks great. An image from the same sequence has also featured, albeit a bit smaller, in Simon Panton's Bouldering Scene in Climber Magazine.
